The amount of heat produced is between 20% and 25% (just 5% difference) is approx. 20% heat. This is important for the overall efficiency of the appliance. It is important not just for the heat distributed to the home but for the heat needed for proper draft/draw. Draft and draw is what takes the products of combustion (smoke) out of the home.
